Join us for the newest edition of Park(ing) Day, hosted this year by YES! Knoxville. Registrants will use their creative juices to redesign parking spaces along Market Street and Union Avenues in the new weekend pedestrian zone downtown and reclaim them to be people-focused! Due to a shortened timeline this year from our announcement of the event, teams will have four simple prompts they must adhere to in their designs. Spaces must include a place to rest, a place for shade, a place for greenery, and a place for something else (teams’ choice). Entry fees are $50 per team and prizes will be awarded in the evening.
